Climatepreneurship Project

Climatepreneurship Climatepreneurship

Supported through Rivets In partnership with IFRC Solferino Academy, the Climatepreneurship Program is a transformative initiative designed and has equip about 7,000 women farmers with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to thrive in a changing climate while building sustainable agribusinesses.

The program combines climate-smart agriculture, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, and green enterprise support to create resilient livelihoods and strengthen food security across vulnerable communities. Through practical training, mentorship, and market-linkage opportunities, participants will learn innovative farming techniques that increase productivity, reduce environmental impact, and improve household incomes.

Its impact so far:

  • 7,000 women farmers trained in climate-smart agricultural practices.
  • 35,000+ family members indirectly impacted through improved incomes and food security.
  • 700 women-led green enterprises supported and strengthened.
  • 20,000 acres of farmland expected to adopt climate-resilient farming methods.
  • 100,000+ trees planted and nurtured through its strategic tree planting.
  • 30% increase in farm productivity among participating farmers.
  • 25% increase in household income through sustainable agribusiness opportunities.
